About the Position
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this newly created role offers a genuine opportunity to step into a leadership position where you will shape both team capability and the broader finance function. You will take ownership of the management accounts process while playing a key role in strengthening controls, improving reporting, and supporting business growth initiatives.

This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong Senior Management Accountant who is looking to broaden their impact in a dynamic, multi-site healthcare organisation.
You will be accountable for:
Team Leadership and Development
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of management accountants, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
- Providing structured technical coaching across month-end processes, reconciliation standards, and systems including NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, and Power BI
Management Accounts
- End-to-end ownership of monthly management accounts, including P&L reporting, variance analysis, and insightful commentary
- Coordinating the month-end close process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
- Enhancing reporting and dashboards to provide operational leaders with clear, actionable insights
Compliance and Internal Controls
- Managing the monthly compliance calendar, including payroll reconciliations, AP/AR processes, GST, and statutory obligations
- Strengthening the internal controls environment through ongoing review, improvement, and proactive risk identification
Financial Planning Support
- Supporting business case development for new site expansions and acquisitions, including financial modelling and sensitivity analysis
- Contributing to the annual budget and reforecast processes
About You
You are CA or CPA qualified with strong management accounting experience, including ownership of month-end processes within a multi-entity or multi-site environment. You bring leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to take accountability for team output and develop capability in others.
You have advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and analysis of large datasets, and ideally exposure to NetSuite and Adaptive Planning. You possess strong technical accounting knowledge across accruals, revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, and payroll reconciliations, alongside a solid understanding of financial reporting, audit, and tax requirements.
You are a clear communicator who can engage effectively with both finance and operational stakeholders, and you take a proactive, hands-on approach. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a growing and evolving organisation.
