Fit Futures is a leading sports education provider delivering high-quality PDHPE programs (Athletics, FMS, Dance, Gymnastics, and Ball Skills) to primary school students across Sydney and the Illawarra region. Role Summary
We're seeking motivated and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coaches to deliver PDHPE lessons to primary school students in the Mount Pleasant area, starting Term 3, 2026.
You'll join a dedicated team of coaches and teachers who pride themselves on creating sessions that are fun, energetic, and impactful for kids. Our team is committed to nurturing students' confidence, developing their skills, and keeping them engaged every step of the way.
Our programs run on a consistent weekly schedule throughout the term, meaning you'll coach the same classes and build meaningful relationships with the same students and teachers week after week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing day-to-day teaching, learning and instruction.
- Instructing students in the delivery of various physical education programs
- Implementing high quality age-appropriate lessons for primary school children.
- Promotion of the Fit Futures Brand to grow the company.
- Unlock students' true potential, preparing them for unlimited success.
- Engage effectively with students, teaching staff, and colleagues, aligning with Fit Futures philosophy.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of coaching experience
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Available during school hours, 8:30am–3:00pm on working days
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred but not required:
- 1+ year teaching experience in Gymnastics, Athletics, FMS, or Ball Skills
- Level 1 or higher coaching accreditation, particularly in Gymnastics or Athletics
- Driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
