Job Description
Location: Ceduna, South Australia.
Status: Full-Time, working 38 hours per week
Annual Salary: from $68,330 to $74,554 per annum based on full time
Hourly Rate: $34.58 to $37.73 per hour
About the Position
The Administration Officer is responsible for providing effective administration and reception services to our Ceduna office.
As an Administrative Officer you will be responsible for:
· Provide day‑to‑day administrative and reception support
· Manage telephone, email and in‑person enquiries, including client intakes and waitlists
· Support Emergency Relief processes where applicable, including assisting with enquiries, assessments, completing paperwork and maintaining accurate records in accordance with established procedures.
· Schedule appointments, meetings, rooms, travel and training using approved systems
· Maintain accurate paper‑based and electronic records, registers and filing systems
· Prepare and distribute routine documentation, correspondence and communications
· Coordinate meetings, events and training sessions, including catering and resources
· Manage incoming and outgoing mail, stationery stock and office supplies
· Maintain reception, meeting and consultation areas to a high standard
· Assist with data entry, statistics, reporting and basic IT support within scope
· Support financial administration including petty cash, receipting, invoicing and reconciliations
· Assist with WHS compliance tasks, building maintenance liaison, vehicle coordination, and opening/closing procedures
· Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Minimum 12 months of practical experience working in an administration role.
· Previous experience providing a high level of customer/client service.
· Sound knowledge and exposure to administrative systems.
· Well-developed communication skills (verbal and written).
· Excellent organisational and time management skills, with ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
· Demonstrated ability to work in a highly confidential manner.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative manner.
· Demonstrated high level of ability in the use of Microsoft Office and Information Technology.
· Qualification in Business Administration (desirable)
Requirements of the role:
- Hold (or willingness to obtain) a current DHS Working With Children Check *
- Hold (or a willingness to obtain) a National Criminal History Record Check (Police Check) *
- Hold a current South Australian Driver’s License (minimum Provisional License)
