Homestead Brewery is looking for a Beer Experience Specialist to become the face of our brewery. This unique role combines guest engagement, beer education, brewery tours, staff training and beer operations, while also providing support to our Head Brewer.

We're seeking someone who can confidently talk hops, brewing techniques, flavour profiles and food pairings just as comfortably as they can pour a perfect pint.

Based at the award-winning Mandoon Estate in the Swan Valley, you'll help create memorable experiences for guests while ensuring our beer is presented and maintained to the highest standard across the venue.

This is a hands-on role that combines customer-facing hospitality, beer education, brewery operations and brewing support. While the majority of your time will be spent engaging with guests and working behind the bar, you will also work closely with our Head Brewer to support brewery operations and maintain beer quality throughout the venue.

About your role:

Working behind the bar as the primary beer expert for Homestead Brewery.
Delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
Confidently recommending beers, discussing flavour profiles, brewing techniques and food pairings with guests.
Becoming the go-to source of beer knowledge for both customers and team members.
Delivering engaging brewery tours, tastings and beer experiences.
Training venue staff on beer styles, tasting notes, brewing processes and product knowledge.
Managing brewery stock movements, transfers and inventory control.
Performing beer line cleaning and maintaining dispense quality standards across the venue.
Supporting takeaway beer and merchandise sales.
Assisting with canning, packaging and cellar operations.
Working alongside the Head Brewer in the brewery production.
Representing Homestead Brewery during events, promotions and activations.
Maintaining the highest standards of beer quality, presentation and service.

What you'll bring:

You are someone who:

Has a genuine passion for craft beer.
Loves talking to people and creating memorable guest experiences.
Is confident speaking to groups and presenting tours.
Has hospitality, brewery, bar or beverage industry experience.
Has strong beer knowledge or a willingness to become an expert.
Is organised, proactive and takes pride in quality.
Holds a current RSA and Food Safety certificate.
Brewery experience is advantageous but not essential.
