Your Care is currently seeking experienced Disability and Aged Care Support Workers to join our growing team in Castlemaine and surrounding areas. As a Support Worker with Your Care, you will play an important role in supporting participants to exercise choice and control over their lives while promoting independence, inclusion, and wellbeing. What the Role Involves
As a Support Worker, you will assist participants to live independently in their home and achieve their goals while delivering high-quality, person-centred support. This may include:
- Personal care and daily living support
- Community access and social participation
- Supporting independence within the home
- Transporting participants to appointments, activities, and outings
- Supporting participants to build skills, confidence, and capacity
- Building meaningful and respectful relationships with participants and their families
- Promoting participant choice, dignity, and independence in all aspects of support
- Domestic assistance

What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent lived experience)
- Experience working in disability and/or aged care
- A strong understanding of person-centred practice and participant choice and control
- A genuine passion for supporting people to achieve their goals and live the life they choose
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
- A current Driver's Licence
- A reliable and registered motor vehicle
- Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance

- Current National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
