We’re now looking for a Part Time Certificate III or Diploma Educator — or someone who’s currently studying toward their qualification — to join our vibrant team and help create inspiring learning experiences for young children.
Where you’ll work
Set on a large block with beautiful big trees proving year-round protection and enjoyment, Castlemaine Kindergarten is an Exceeding-rated service that provides children with a wide variety of open-ended learning and play experiences that are tailored to each individual child’s needs. An educator passionate about supporting the rights of children to choose how they learn would suit this environment well.
Role Details:
Certificate III or Diploma Educator
Wednesday and Thursday - 8:15am to 3:45pm; Monday and Tuesday lunch cover - 11:00am to 2:00pm, Friday lunch cover - 11:00am to 1:00pm
14 contact hours + 3.5 non-contact hours + 8 lunch cover hours = 25.5 hours per week
What You’ll Do
As a valued member of our teaching team, you’ll:
- Support play-based learning programs that nurture each child’s growth and development
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
- Create safe, inclusive environments where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired
- Work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional education and care

What You’ll Bring
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward it)
- A genuine interest in supporting children’s development and commitment to ongoing learning
- Current Working With Children's Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Great teamwork, communication, and reliability
