The Role
Our Home Care services empower older people to live at home independently and safely. You will provide individualised care tailored to the needs of each client and their families.
We are offering a permanent part-time opportunity for a reliable and flexible Home Care Employee, with 20 hours per fortnight across a variety of shifts. Ideally, candidates will be available to work between 8:00am and 4:00pm and be able to commit to a minimum of three days’ availability per week. Days and hours are negotiable and will be scheduled in line with client needs across Casino and surrounding areas. Weekend availability is highly required.
We currently have roles available servicing Kyogle and Casino, as well as Casino and Lismore. Applicants must be willing to travel within these regions to support our clients.
Your role will include:

Meal assistance, including shopping, meal preparation and help with eating

Transport and accompaniment, including shopping trips and appointments

Social support & activities, including outings and social activities.

Personal care, showering, and bathing, general self-care duties

Domestic assistance, light household cleaning.

Medication assistance

Certificate III in Aged or Individual Support, or AIN qualifications -essential

Compassionate interpersonal skills and an empathy with older people

Current driver's license and car with full comprehensive insurance

Willingness to travel on a regular basis using your own vehicle.

Reliable and trustworthy – our clients are dependent on you.

Ability to work with minimal to no supervision

Proven Aged Care or NDIS services background

Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working independently and remotely in customers’ homes and in the local community.
