Your New Role and Responsibilities
As an entry-level Facilities role, you will support the Site Facilities Manager in coordinating day-to-day facilities operations across Leidos Melbourne sites, based at Scoresby with regular visits to the City office. This role provides hands-on exposure to facilities management within a complex, regulated environment and is well suited to someone looking to build a long-term career in facilities and workplace operations.
This is a fixed-term contract role until 1 October 2027, with potential opportunities for ongoing employment depending on business needs and performance.
As a key member of the Facilities team, your responsibilities will include:
Providing administrative and coordination support to the Site Facilities Manager.
Supporting day-to-day facilities and security activities, including reactive and preventative maintenance with Leidos vendors.
Assisting with compliance to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Supporting operational delivery across multiple sites.
Building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors.
Assisting with capital works, minor projects and office accommodation activities.
Exposure to facilities coordination or property-related roles, with experience in a Commonwealth Government or regulated environment viewed favorably.
A security mindset, including awareness of physical security principles, information sensitivity and the importance of following security policies and procedures.
Knowledge of WHS requirements and a willingness to apply them in a practical workplace setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.
A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail and a desire to learn and develop in facilities management.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and be willing to obtain and hold an NV-1 security clearance.
