About the role

As a Production Scheduler at Metecno PIR, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of the company's high-quality insulation products. This full-time position is based at our Acacia Ridge facility and will involve managing the production schedule to optimise workflow output, minimise waste, and meet customer demands.

What you'll be doing

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders and delivery timelines
Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks
Monitor production progress and make adjustments to the schedule as needed to maintain efficiency
Communicate regularly with sales, customer service, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely updates
Analyse production data to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased productivity
Support the implementation of new systems and technologies to enhance the scheduling and planning function

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a production scheduling or planning role, preferably in a continuous manufacturing industry
Experience scheduling production for multiple production sites an advantage
Candidates with single-site production scheduling experience will also be considered
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to quickly identify and resolve scheduling issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in using production scheduling software (Pronto) and other relevant tools
Pronto software experience preferred but not essential
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as operations management, industrial engineering, or logistics
