Commercial Cleaner (Full-time) – Carole Park

Multiple full-time positions
Monday to Friday, 6am start
Award rates from $25.85 per hour
Immediate start available

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will deliver high-quality cleaning services within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, helping to maintain a safe, compliant and welcoming site. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, with all cleaning completed in accordance with client SOPs and site procedures. All training will be provided.

Key responsibilities include:

Provide friendly, professional customer service and respond to requests as required
Complete general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and vacuuming
Clean public areas, meal rooms, offices and amenities (including bathrooms)
Clean internal and external glass surfaces
Respond to spills and complete spot cleaning as needed
Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums, buffers, high-pressure washers, scrubbers and floor sweepers
Use safe manual handling techniques when lifting and moving equipment
Restock consumables and cleaning supplies as required
Collect and remove rubbish and maintain waste areas
Use cleaning chemicals safely and in line with site procedures
Communicate clearly and proactively manage stakeholder expectations

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous commercial cleaning experience (experience in regulated environments highly regarded)
Exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach
Good knowledge of cleaning processes, equipment and hygiene standards
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience or training (highly desirable)
Willingness to follow client SOPs and complete required training
Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently
A National Criminal History Check (issued within the last three months)
