We are looking for a Dental Hygienist or Therapist to join our small, dedicated team of dental professionals.
Deakin Dental Care is a privately owned general dental practice located in the affluent south Canberra suburb of Deakin. With a long-term, loyal patient base, we are looking for a hygienist to support our dentists in providing exceptional care to each and every patient.
The role is flexible in that we are happy to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that works with you and the practice. Ideally, we are looking for 2-4 days a week to support our Principal and Senior Associate dentist with their routine check-up and clean appointments.
The practice is a new fit out with brand new chairs, computers, x-rays, OPG/CBCT onsite, digital scanner and access to experienced dentists for support and mentorship.
About you:
- Ideally 5+ years of experience but willing to consider all applications
- Be able to work independently and to a timetable
- Be able to hit the ground running, we have the work waiting, we need someone willing to take it on
- Be able and willing to work collaboratively with our dentists to provide the best possible treatment for our patients
- Be patient centric and ensure patient comfort and a positive experience at all times
- Be a team player - we are a close knit, friendly team that works well together and supports each other throughout the day
- Hold relevant qualifications, AHPRA registration, radiation license and insurance to work as a hygienist in Australia
- We are looking for someone to do hygiene work but are open to considering a therapist who is happy to grow into a therapy role over time
