Details: The Departments of ICT and Cyber Security are seeking to fill multiple positions available within the team. There is a combination of temporary positions with a variation of part-time hours on offer.
As part of this process, a merit pool will be created and can potentially be used to fill further positions that may become available.
We are seeking experienced Vocational Education and Training Practitioners to join their team as an Educator for commencement in 2026.
The Educator will complete various collaborative activities in curriculum delivery, providing education and support to a range of student cohorts. Building strong continuous relationships with internal and external Industry partners within the ICT and Cyber teams. You will have sound knowledge and experience in computer-based management systems, IT capabilities, including skills and knowledge across one or more fields of cyber security, advanced networking and network management, Windows server management, database management, software applications, web development or data analytics. You will be responsible for implementing innovative teaching and assessment practices and modelling a commitment to continuous learning.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
To be successful in this position you will be able to inspire, energise, and positively influence team and individual outcomes. You will be an experienced VET practitioner passionate about passing on your knowledge and experience. Putting the student’s journey at the centre of your work, enabling you to easily navigate compliance requirements, relationships with industry and best practice learning and development.
All employees engaged at the Educator Level 1 classification must:

Hold a Training and Assessment Certificate IV level qualification (such as a TAE40116 or equivalent); or
-
Where the full qualification is not held, hold as a minimum prior to employment as an employee in any form, qualifications as required by the Standards for RTOs; and

Complete the full qualification within 12 months of engagement and be supervised by a suitably qualified person.
