Procedural Nurse (RN or EN) – Casual / On-Call
Join a Brand-New, Purpose-Built Skin Cancer Clinic
SunScope Skin Cancer Centre is a new, purpose-built clinic opening in Deakin. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse to provide procedural nursing support in a professional and patient focused environment.
This is primarily an on call position to provide leave cover for our regular nurse, making it ideal for a semi-retired nurse or an experienced nurse seeking flexible and occasional work.
About the Role
Working closely with our skin doctors, you will assist with skin cancer procedures and help provide a high standard of patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with skin cancer procedures and minor surgery
- Preparing treatment rooms and equipment
- Supporting patients before, during, and after procedures
- Maintaining infection control and sterilisation standards
- Assisting with clinical documentation and patient education
- Stock management and procedure room organisation
- Working collaboratively with the reception and clinical team
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A current Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) with AHPRA registration
- Experienced in general practice, procedural nursing, dermatology, theatre, skin cancer, or similar clinical settings
- Warm, professional, and patient-focused
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Comfortable assisting with minor surgical procedures
- Committed to providing high-quality patient care
Previous skin cancer experience is desirable but not essential. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
