We are currently seeking a talented and driven Graphic & Digital Designer to join our Creative Studio team based in our Canberra HQ. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment and wants to work on nationally recognised fitness and wellness brands including Club Lime, Plus Fitness, hiit republic, World Gym, Groundup and more.
Reporting to the Head of Design & Production, you will play a key role in bringing campaigns, brands, and digital experiences to life across print, digital, social, in-club, and UI/UX platforms. From high-impact campaign rollouts and new club launches to signage, merchandise, EDMs, websites, and motion graphics — no two days are the same.
This role is perfect for a designer who combines strong technical design capability with creativity, initiative, and a passion for visual storytelling. You’ll work alongside marketers, operations teams, developers, and external suppliers to deliver polished, on-brand creative that supports business growth and enhances member experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and produce high-quality creative assets across digital, print, social media, OOH, EDMs, signage, websites, apps, and in-club displays.
- Support the rollout of integrated marketing campaigns from concept development through to final artwork delivery.
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all visual touchpoints within Viva Leisure’s portfolio of brands.
- Design and prototype digital experiences and UI components using Figma and/or Framer.
- Support website landing pages, app assets, and member-facing digital experiences in collaboration with digital and technology teams.
- Contribute to improving digital usability, engagement, and overall customer experience.
- Prepare print-ready artwork and large-format signage files to production specifications.
- Support signage coordination for new club openings, refurbishments, and campaigns.
- Assist with merchandise design, supplier coordination, and production management.
- Explore and integrate AI-assisted design tools and workflows to improve efficiency and creative output.
- Contribute innovative ideas and emerging trends to enhance campaign performance and visual storytelling.
- Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and external suppliers to deliver effective creative solutions.
- Maintain organised file structures and asset libraries to support team efficiency and workflow management.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communication, or related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
- Portfolio demonstrating experience across digital, print, branding, and motion design required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in graphic and digital design, ideally within an agency or multi-brand in-house environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Experience designing for both digital and print production.
- UI/UX design capability using Figma and/or Framer.
- Strong understanding of branding, layout, typography, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Motion graphics and short-form video editing experience.
- Experience with AI-assisted creative tools and workflows.
- Experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or franchise environments.
- Photography, videography, or on-location content capture experience.
- Exposure to merchandise production and signage installation workflows.
- Creative, innovative, and passionate about design.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
