About the Role: Horsell is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant – ILS/IPS Management to support Defence and complex asset programs through the delivery of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Integrated Product Support (IPS) outcomes.
This role will lead and coordinate supportability activities across the full product lifecycle, ensuring integrated, compliant, and sustainable support system solutions aligned with client and project requirements.
You will work closely with Defence stakeholders, engineering teams, OEMs, and project managers to deliver high-quality support system governance, planning, and assurance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver ILS/IPS management activities across Defence and complex asset programs
- Develop and maintain ILS/IPS management plans, governance artefacts, schedules, and reporting frameworks
- Coordinate Support System activities across engineering, maintenance, supply, training, and operational stakeholders
- Manage governance forums, risk and issue tracking, compliance activities, and delivery assurance
- Support client engagement, workshops, reporting, and decision-support activities
- Contribute to proposal development, estimating, and capability growth within the ILS/IPS discipline
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in ILS/IPS Management, logistics engineering, sustainment, or related disciplines
- Demonstrated experience delivering Defence or complex regulated programs
- Strong understanding of Support System integration and lifecycle sustainment principles
- Experience developing ILS/IPS plans, governance frameworks, and supportability documentation
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Defence standards such as DEF(AUST) 5691/5692 and ASD S-Series specifications
- Project management or ILS/IPS-related certifications
- Experience working with Defence clients, OEMs, and sustainment organisations
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams
