PrixCar Services is an automotive logistics company specialising in Vehicle Transport, Vehicle Processing and Storage, Fleet Conversions and Dealer Vehicle Storage.

Over the last 35 years we have grown to offer a wide range of specialised services, with more than 25 depots across Australia. We are ideally positioned to provide exceptional vehicle transport services to both individuals and OEM customers.

The Position:

We are hiring a Commercial Analyst for our Commercial Team to develop, enhance, and manage reporting suites for executive and cross-functional stakeholders. This role involves analyzing data to identify trends, improving operational and financial performance, and providing actionable insights to meet company targets.

What you will do:

Develop, maintain, and automate accurate dashboards and reports for internal/external stakeholders to monitor business performance
Analyse spends and commercial data to generate actionable insights
Extract, manipulate, and analyse data to support ad-hoc queries and reporting requirements
Conduct commercial analysis, price modelling, and cost analysis for new business tenders and existing operations
Maintain, audit, and update customer/subcontractor rate cards and pricing elements in the operating system
Develop rate calculators and support rate queries from Customer Service Teams
Provide management support for ad-hoc queries, data requests, and report generation
Evaluate and implement proprietary KPI methodologies to improve efficiency
Analyse automotive industry trends to provide recommendations for future business decisions
Perform system administration, including rate uploads, invoice reconciliation, and quote registration
Run training workshops to educate stakeholders on new analytics products, solutions, and updates
Align reporting across teams to improve consistency and visibility

What you will bring:

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar position
Experienced at data extraction, data cleansing and data visualisation & communication
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative information
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and consistent reporting of data
Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office products with a high level of expertise in the use of excel, access & SQL
Experienced on the commercial side, and decidedly "hands-on" and not just theoretical
Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of management
Experience with data relating to customer management, business operational performance and improvement
Self-organised with the ability to operate independently and deliver quality work

Nice to have:

Exposure to SQL would be advantageous
Exposure to Transport and Logistics industry is desirable
