Child Care Assistant – Year-Round Care

Summary of the position:

Casual opportunities available
From $42.185 per hour inclusive of casual loading, plus super.
Flexible Working Hours with availability between: NSW School Terms – 6:30am–9:00am & 3:00pm–7:00pm and NSW School Holidays – 7:00am–7:00pm

About the opportunity:

We are seeking passionate and flexible Child Care Assistants to join our Children’s Services team on a casual basis. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality child care in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant legislation across our Before & After School Care and Vacation Care programs.

The successful applicant will succeed in this position by meeting the following criteria:

Over 18 years of age with a minimum of 1-year experience working with children aged 5-12 years
Current First Aid Certificate, CPR certificate, Working with Children Check and Police Check
Available to work shifts between 6.30am – 9.00am and 3.00pm – 7.00pm during NSW Public School Terms; and shift between 7.00am – 7.00pm during NSW School Holidays.
Ability to develop and maintain respectful relationships with external customers
