Casual Content Creator & Food Prep Assistant
Location: Macarthur Area (Private Home Studio, near Macarthur Square)
Hours: Approximately 5 hours per week during NSW school terms
Days: Wednesday and/or Thursday (negotiable)

About Us
Kids Love to Cook is a leading Australian kids cooking school that helps children build confidence in the kitchen through fun, engaging cooking lessons, videos, workshops and online programs.
We're passionate about helping kids aged 6–12 years develop real-life cooking skills while having plenty of fun along the way. We create educational cooking content that inspires children and supports parents in raising confident, capable young cooks.
About the Role
We're looking for a creative, enthusiastic and organised person to assist with the production of our cooking content.
This is a hands-on support role that combines food preparation, content creation assistance and behind-the-scenes production support. You'll work closely with the Director to help bring our cooking lessons and social media content to life.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys food, social media, content creation, photography, videography, education, or working in a creative environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation
- Prepare ingredients for filming sessions.
- Wash, chop, measure and organise ingredients.
- Assist with recipe preparation before and during filming.
- Help maintain a clean and organised filming workspace.
- Pack away ingredients and equipment after filming.
Content Creation Support
- Assist in planning and brainstorming content ideas for children and parents.
- Suggest creative filming angles and visual ideas.
- Help style food and recipe presentations.
- Move food and props in and out of camera shots as required.
- Support the filming process by assisting behind the camera.
General Production Assistance
- Organise filming equipment and props.
- Source simple props or ingredients if required.
- Assist with content planning and scheduling.
- Contribute ideas that help make content engaging, educational and fun.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Creative and enjoys generating ideas.
- Organised and able to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working in a home-based studio environment.
- Interested in food, cooking, social media or content creation.
- Enthusiastic and positive yet there's a pace for you if you are intorverted.
- Comfortable taking direction and working collaboratively.
Bonus Skills (Not Essential)
- Experience with social media content creation.
- Photography or videography skills.
- Experience working with children or family-focused brands.
- Food preparation or hospitality experience.

Important Notes
- There is no requirement to appear on camera.
- You may occasionally be required to move food, ingredients or props into camera shots using your hands.
- The role is based in a private home studio near Macarthur Square.
- Working With Children Check is advantageous but not essential.
