About the role
Millers Pharmacy is on the lookout for a caring, motivated Casual Pharmacist in Charge to join our friendly and dedicated team in Roseville Chase, NSW. Whether you’re experienced or just starting your journey in pharmacy, we’d love to hear from you!
This position is a casual position for 2-3 days and part time position can be considered for the right candidate. It is ideally suited for someone who is passionate about supporting aged care facilities and nursing homes, while also enjoying the variety of community pharmacy work.
You’ll be working alongside another pharmacist and a great team of pharmacy assistants in a warm, community-focused environment. No OTP work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting nursing homes and aged care facilities with medication supply and clinical services
- Building strong relationships with aged care staff, prescribers, and allied health professionals
- Providing outstanding customer care to our walk-in patients
- Overseeing dispensary operations including stock management and compliance
- Contributing to a positive team culture and mentoring staff
- Participating in quality improvements and helping us do things better every day
- Keeping accurate records and ensuring we meet all clinical and legal standards
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Full AHPRA-registered and qualified to practice as a pharmacist in Australia
- Clinically confident and passionate about delivering quality patient care
- Interested in aged care and open to growing your skills in this area
- A strong communicator who enjoys working with others
- Comfortable leading a team (or ready to grow into that responsibility)
- Familiar with pharmacy systems (Z software, Webstercare) – or willing to learn
- Organized, proactive, and committed to doing their best every day
Junior pharmacists with an interest in aged care are encouraged to apply – we’ll provide full training and mentoring.
