Full Job Description

We're excited to welcome a Pharmacist Pre-Registration (Intern) to our Pharmacy Team.

The common objective of the Pharmacy Service is that patients derive maximum benefit from medications whilst being exposed to minimum risk. This purpose will be achieved by the deployment of a skilled and caring pharmacy workforce.

Key Responsibilities include:
Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist:
Clinical Responsibilities

Participate in the delivery of clinical pharmacy services, working within a learning environment.
Dispense patients' prescriptions, ensuring effective and appropriate medications are provided for patients.
Provide patient counselling on the appropriate use of medications.
Provide a clinical pharmacy service focussing on National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.

Remuneration value up to $98,818 p.a., comprising salary $ 86,609 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3 (1)) (Fixed Term Temporary full time, 76 hrs p.f. position available for 12 months). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
