Full Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, experienced and friendly Receptionist to join our established cosmetic clinic in Toowong.

This is a permanent part-time position working approximately 3–5 days per week, with the potential to progress to full-time for the right person.

The role would suit someone who thrives in a busy, patient-focused environment, provides exceptional customer service and has a genuine interest in skincare and cosmetic treatments.

About the Role

Permanent part-time, approximately 3–5 days per week
Potential to progress to full-time for the right person
Availability for Tuesday evenings and occasional Saturday mornings as required
Flexibility to cover annual leave and sick leave when needed

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming patients and providing a professional, caring experience
Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
Booking and managing appointments
Processing payments and completing daily banking
Maintaining patient records and filing
Preparing treatment rooms according to the day’s bookings
Applying anaesthetic cream and assisting patients after treatment, including applying cover-up makeup when required
Providing general administration support to the clinical team
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the clinic runs smoothly

What We’re Looking For

A warm, friendly and compassionate nature
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional presentation and a confident phone manner
Confidence using computers and appointment-booking software; we use Xestro
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Initiative, reliability and a willingness to help where needed
Previous experience in a medical, allied health, beauty or cosmetic clinic is highly desirable
