We are seeking an Analyst Programmer to support, maintain and enhance business applications across the organisation. The role involves diagnosing and resolving application and technical issues, supporting software releases and upgrades, and developing software solutions for use across multiple devices in both online office environments and offline operational settings.
The successful candidate will provide third-line application support, work closely with users and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, and translate these into practical software solutions. They will contribute to the full development lifecycle, including analysis, programming, testing, documentation, deployment and continuous improvement, while ensuring quality, security and maintainability standards are met.
This role also includes supporting change and release management processes, maintaining user and technical documentation, contributing to training resources, and participating in Agile Scrum activities within the Business Applications team.

- IT qualification (AQF level 7)

Experience
- Experience in agile software development environments such as Scrum
- Web development experience, including HTML, Typescript, responsive design and styling
- At least 1 year of PHP programming experience
- Experience in relational database design, particularly MySQL/MariaDB
- Experience with unit and integration testing, user interface design, and software quality practices
- Experience with Ubuntu Linux, nginx, rsync, Docker, GitLab, CI/CD, Angular and Bootstrap
- Experience with version control, preferably Git
