MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate marketing and communications professional to join the team at Cairns Convention Centre. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee and direct all aspects of the marketing and communication activities to optimise the Centre's position in the local, national and international markets.
- Deliver strategic marketing and communication initiatives that are aligned with Cairns Convention Centre's strategies
- Develop relevant content to drive brand awareness through local, national and international market
- Manage Cairns Convention Centre's digital platforms and content development including social media, website updates, and corporate communication materials
- Build and implement marketing campaigns that will enhance the Centre's brand, drive awareness and support the business development activities of the Centre
- Deliver and support Cairns Convention Centre's Corporate Responsibility Initiatives
ABOUT YOU:

- You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- You will have a bachelor or higher tertiary degree in communication, marketing or similar
- You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, written and verbal
- You will have experience in copywriting and editing skills
