In addition to the necessary qualifications, the following skills and personal attributes are desirable :
- Good knowledge of all PADI courses
- A boating background or sound knowledge of boats and boating skills
- Ability to effectively manage people
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent team worker
- Very customer orientated
- Ability to use own initiative and work unsupervised
