About the role
As the Corps Business Administrator, you will efficiently assist with operations of the Cairns corps of The Salvation Army and provide administrative support to the Corps Officers.
Reporting to the Corps Officer, this is a permanent, full-time role, located in Cairns, QLD.
How you will make an impact

Provide administrative support, including phone enquiries, booking donation collections/deliveries, and managing incoming mail.

Oversee banking and financial administration for Corps, Community Services, and PR activities.

Assist with budgeting processes for Corps, SAES, CSS, and four Family Stores in consultation with relevant staff.

Coordinate hall bookings, invoicing, and general Corps administrative duties as directed by the Corps Officer and ministry staff.

Liaise with contractors to manage building and garden maintenance requirements.

Maintain fleet vehicle logs and support operational compliance activities.
What you will bring

Experience in administration functions including processing of accounts, record keeping, banking procedures

A demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

Good written & verbal communication skills

Ability to use a computer using a Windows XP environment and preparation of documents utilizing Microsoft Office 2003, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Hold a current ‘C’ class Queensland Driver’s licence
-
A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
