Join Our Team: Barista and Hospitality Supervisor

Are you searching for a meaningful workplace in Morayfield where your hospitality skills can make a real difference? Caboolture Workers Co-Op is looking for an experienced barista to join our not-for-profit, social enterprise coffee shop at the Morayfield Health Hub.

About Us:

At Caboolture Workers Co-Op, we are committed to providing meaningful employment opportunities for people with cognitive disabilities. Our café operates with an inclusive, cooperative spirit, aiming to enhance well-being, self-esteem, and mental health through valued roles in employment. By empowering individuals with disabilities, we foster social inclusion and reduce discrimination.

About the Role:

We are seeking a hospitality legend with over five years of experience to manage daily operations and support our valued team members. Our coffee shop operates from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

Position Details: 24-36 hours per week - starting as casual with potential for full-time or permanent part-time after a three-month probation period.

Remuneration: In line with Restaurant Industry Award Level 3 or higher, depending on experience, plus salary packaging to boost your take-home pay.

· Strong barista skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of coffee and food

· Demonstrates strong self-awareness and interpersonal skills alongside an ability to effectively manage stress and seamlessly navigate challenging situations

· Experience in supervising others and fostering an inclusive culture

· Flexibility, organisation, and a love for the hospitality buzz

· Ability to inspire and support our workers with disabilities

· Community-minded with a commitment to equity and kindness
