Full-Time FOH Trainee / Barista Trainee
Coffee & Kitchen East | East Ballina

Coffee & Kitchen East is seeking a full-time Front of House / Barista Trainee to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, well presented, and genuinely wants to build a strong future in hospitality. We are looking for a team member with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for customer service, café culture, and working in a quality-focused environment.

At Coffee & Kitchen East, we are proud to offer a modern café experience built around consistency, presentation, professionalism, and warm, genuine service. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a strong team and take pride in being part of a busy and well-regarded venue.

This role is ideal for someone wanting to develop professionally in front of house service, with the added opportunity to receive barista training and grow their skills within a supportive and structured environment.

About the role
As part of this position, you will be trained across all key front of house duties, including customer service, table service, takeaway service, POS operation, food and drink running, section presentation, and day-to-day café flow.

You will also receive barista training, with the opportunity to learn:

coffee preparation and service standards
milk texturing
drink presentation
workflow and speed during service
café cleanliness and organisation
consistency in a high-volume environment

This is a full-time position, and weekend availability is essential.
