What most podiatry roles look like
You are either capped at a salary that does not reflect your billings, or you are paying practice overhead, chasing your own patients, and managing your own admin. Neither model rewards clinical output. This one does.
The role
Footsy places registered podiatrists into established clinic rooms with an existing patient pipeline, full admin and billing support, and a contractor split that puts more in your pocket than a standard employed role. You focus entirely on patients. We handle everything else. This is a contractor arrangement. Your earnings are directly tied to what you produce. Podiatrists in our network working four days per week are generating between $110,000 and $150,000 annually. There is no salary ceiling. The clinical focus is biomechanics and orthotics, comprising approximately 90% of your caseload. Assessment-heavy, protocol-supported, and backed by established documentation systems that comply with all government requirements.
What Footsy provides
Established clinic rooms in your city with equipment ready to use. An existing patient referral pipeline including private, Medicare EPC, workcover and DVA patients. All billing, scheduling, and front-of-house administration managed by our team. Flexible days and hours — you set your availability. No upfront cost to join. Billing support including onboarding for practitioners .
What the earnings look like
A podiatrist seeing 7 patients per day, 4 days per week, at average private and insurance rates generates approximately $2,500 to $3,000 per week in billings. Your contractor share is a direct percentage of collected billings. No salary cap, no hidden deductions, no practice overhead taken from your cut.
What we need from you
Current AHPRA registration. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience. Strong biomechanics and orthotics background. ABN holder or willing to obtain one. Professional indemnity insurance. Comfortable working to established clinical protocols with accurate documentation to government standards.
Who this suits
A podiatrist currently employed on a salary who wants to earn what their billings actually justify. A contractor already working independently who wants consistent patient volume without the cost of running their own marketing and admin. A practitioner considering relocation who wants an established caseload from day one.
