Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist | Maven Dental Busselton

Looking for a role where no two days are the same? Want to join a supportive team in a beautiful coastal location? Maven Dental Busselton is looking for a friendly and motivated Casual Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both the clinical and customer service side of dentistry and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Job Description

In this varied role, you’ll support the practice across both dental assisting and reception duties, helping ensure a smooth and positive experience for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

Chairside assisting across a range of dental procedures
Preparing and sterilising instruments and treatment rooms
Greeting patients and managing appointments
Answering phone and email enquiries
Processing payments and health fund claims
Maintaining accurate patient records
Supporting the team with day-to-day clinical and administrative tasks

Qualifications

Experience in dental procedures and terminology.
Knowledge of dental software systems.
Demonstrates empathy and a caring nature.
Possesses a friendly, positive, and flexible attitude.
Understands hygiene and infection control procedures.
Has a keen attention to detail.

Preferred:

Certificate III in Dental Assisting
Experience in Dental Software
