At Creative Playground Education, our STEM educators imagine, innovate and inspire! Join us to make teaching more fun than ever!

Who we are
Creative Playground Education provides a suite of STEM enrichment programs run after school, weekends and school holidays for primary school children. The children will learn theoretical concepts and build motorised and robotic LEGO models to understand real-life topics.

Your role
As a STEM Educator, your role is to prepare and deliver to a classroom of children on topics relating to physics, engineering and technology. The educator manages a classroom of children to teach and inspire them to become a STEM professional. The educator will spend time learning new topics in preparation for each week’s classes, very similar to a classroom teacher.

During class, you will answer student queries on the topic taught, help build LEGO models and help with coding, in addition to all the classroom management roles.

With the nature of the role, you will also be required to pick up or drop off equipment at different locations, handle equipment up and downstairs, rearrange classroom furniture, speak to parents as well as school executives.

Classes are located at the following venues following school terms.
- Mondays 3:15pm - 5:15pm Hurstville South PS
- Wednesdays 4:00pm - 6:00pm Hurstville PS
- Thursdays 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm Carlton PS

All training will be provided.

The ideal candidate
- Mandatory: Have a car to carry equipment
- Mandatory: High level of attention to detail
- Mandatory: Live within 7km from the venues
- Mandatory: Love working with children and have a passion for guidance
- Strong focus and passion in education
- Creative mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Responsible and proactive learner
- Have working with children check or willing to apply for one
- Is looking for part time work and able to commit for a minimum of 1 year
