About Us

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Service team as a Field Service Fitter based out of our Revesby branch. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing diagnostics, repair and maintenance services to our customer’s equipment in the field.

Key responsibilities include:

Diagnose, service and repair Hitachi construction and earthmoving equipment in the field
Building and maintaining strong relationships with our customer base
Complete and submit service reports and documentation in a timely manner
Ensure all work is completed in line with Hitachi’s safety and quality standards

About You

Relevant trade qualification (Mobile Plant / Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent)
Current driver’s license
Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues
OEM or earthmoving equipment experience is highly regarded
A customer-first mindset with strong communication skills
Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
