Territory Manager – South Eastern NSW
Position Overview
We are looking for our next territory manager to work closely with customers to provide specialist support and machinery recommendations tailored to customer needs and individual operations. By staying ahead of industry trends, identifying sales opportunities, and building strong customer relationships, you'll help deliver industry-leading solutions across the John Deere product range.
We're looking for a motivated sales professional with a passion for agriculture, machinery, and customer success. This role supports customers across South Eastern NSW, with territory responsibilities aligned to the successful candidate's experience, strengths, and location.
Success in this role will come from your ability to understand customer operations, anticipate future needs, and continually expand your knowledge of John Deere products and the agricultural and turf industries.
What You’ll Be Doing

Represent Hutcheon & Pearce in machinery sales, building lasting relationships with customers.
- Stay informed on product features, benefits, and competitive offerings.
- Engage in ongoing sales training to sharpen your skills and industry knowledge.
- Maintain accurate customer records using sales tools like EQUIP, Handle, and Sales Centre.
- Follow a structured sales process to ensure smooth and successful transactions.
- Conduct hands-on equipment demonstrations in the field.
- Assist customers with financing options to secure new and used equipment.
- Support customers beyond the sale, working with Service Specialists to optimise equipment performance.
What You’ll Bring

1+ years equipment sales experience.
- Knowledge of turf equipment or agricultural and farming or operational practices preferred.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret basic sales reports.
- Attention to detail.
