Production Operator (Brendale, QLD)

Rotating shift roster 4x4 (day and night)

About the role

The Production Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at Brendale, QLD. Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for operating a range of fixed and mobile plant in a dynamic environment to manufacture high-quality products.

Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts. The shifts rotate between day (06:00-18:00) and night (18:00-06:00).

In this role you will:

Operating machinery and ensuring materials are produced to the commercial standard, performing quality checks as required.
Identify and report equipment and product faults.
Unload and stage (put away) various products.
Be involved in identifying risks and hazards and contributing to initiatives that focus on improving quality.
Housekeeping and other duties as required.
Forklift driving required and complete pre-start checklists.

What you bring to the role

A great work ethic and strong commitment to safe work practices & high regard for safety
Ability to interact well with others and join the team
The ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
High attention to detail, with good mechanical mind and trouble shooting ability
Computer literacy
Willingness to work a rotating roster.
Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multiple stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.
A current Forklift license with experience is preferred
Strong understanding of production operations
