Happy Hounds is looking for reliable, professional and experienced pet carers to join our growing team as independent subcontractors, providing dog walking, pet sitting and house sitting services across the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
This role is ideal for individuals who genuinely love animals and are committed to delivering exceptional care and customer service. We are seeking team members who are dependable, organised, and available to accept regular rostered work. While caring for adorable pets is incredibly rewarding, it also comes with responsibility. Our pet carers must be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of handling pets and homes with care. Every day brings new adventures, challenges, and the joy of making a real difference in pets' and owners' lives.
As a Happy Hounds subcontractor, you will be supported by an established and respected pet care business that has been caring for pets across the Gold Coast and Brisbane for over a decade. You will be part of a team that values trust, communication, and outstanding service.
Please note: This is a subcontractor position (super included). We service most areas of the Gold Coast and Brisbane, so applicants do not need to be located in the suburb listed in this advertisement.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
- Dog Walking: 30-60 minute walks in the dog’s neighborhood, at the beach, or in the park (max 2 dogs at a time).
- Pet Sitting: 30-60 minute daily visits to care for dogs, cats, and small animals.
- House Sitting: Overnight stays in clients' homes to care for pets while their owners are away.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

✔ Experience with animal handling
✔ Pet First Aid Certification

Pay: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour
