HR Coordinator

We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and people‑focused HR Coordinator to join our team in Burleigh Heads. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role plays a dual part in managing the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle and coordinating employee mobilisation across our projects.

About the role

This role blends recruitment, onboarding, mobilisation, and HR admin.

You’ll be using your innovative thinking, proactive communication, and strong admin skills to support both candidates and employees throughout their journey with us.

Recruitment & Talent Support

Posting job ads, reviewing applications, and finding great people for our projects
Interviewing and keeping candidates informed
Building warm, positive relationships with applicants and new starters
Supporting recruitment reporting and workforce planning

Onboarding & Mobilisation

Guiding new employees through pre‑employment checks (medical, visa, licences, tickets)
Ensure all new starters meet client induction, compliance, and site‑access standards before mobilisation
Build positive working relationships with client teams to support smooth workforce deployment
Preparing contracts, onboarding packs, and induction materials
Assisting with travel or mobilisation arrangements when required
Being a friendly point of contact for new starters as they settle in

HR Admin & Everyday Support

Maintaining accurate employee records and HR registers
Ensuring documentation meets legal, contractual, and WHS requirements
Actively look for better, smarter ways to work and contribute to continuous improvement across HR processes
Support the HR Manager with day‑to‑day tasks, project work, and ongoing HR initiatives

What you’ll bring

Must Have

Australian citizenship or permanent residency (required for ongoing employment)
Previous experience in administration, office support, or coordination
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships
Confident using technology and learning new systems
High attention to detail and accuracy with documents and records
Strong organisational and time‑management skills
A proactive, resourceful, can‑do attitude and willingness to support the wider team
Clear and professional written and verbal communication

Nice to Have

Experience supporting recruitment or onboarding
Exposure to HR processes or HR systems
Certificate or diploma in HR or Business Administration
Experience in construction, renewables, or project‑based industries
