Full Job Description

Macadamias Direct – Bundaberg Region

Macadamias Direct is seeking a Farms Administrator to provide day-to-day administrative support to our macadamia farming operations. This role assists the Farm Manager and operational team with routine office and record-keeping tasks that support the smooth running of farm activities.

This is a practical administrative support role, suited to someone organised, reliable and comfortable working with operational teams in a farming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide general administrative support to the Farm Manager and farm personnel
Organise quotes, follow up invoices and code invoices within Syspro
Process receivals and deliveries through company systems
Assist with end-of-month administrative requirements and reporting
Process weekly timesheets and leave requests and forward to payroll
Maintain employee records including training, licences, inductions and certifications
Maintain farm documentation and filing systems (electronic and physical)
Assist with safety administration, onboarding and PPE/clothing requisitions
Maintain harvest and commodity tracking records, including daily harvest records and transport logistics
Assist with fleet administration, including arranging servicing and maintenance
Update and maintain operational systems used by the farm team (e.g. AgWorld, JotForms)

About You

You will be someone who enjoys administration and supporting operational teams.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience in administration, clerical or office support roles
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good computer skills including Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks and meet deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A reliable and practical approach to work

Additional Requirements

Current driver's licence
Reliable transport
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to attend different regional farm locations if required

The company also operates a macadamia cracking facility at Dunoon, NSW, along with storage and logistics facilities in Ballina and Toowoomba.
