About the Role:

As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the maintenance team, ensuring plant reliability, production targets, and continuous improvement across operations. This is a practical, hands-on position plays a key role in the success of our sugar milling operations.

In this role, you will:

Coordinate and direct the Mill maintenance team, ensuring WHS, quality, and environmental compliance.
Provide technical advice and support on maintenance across operations.
Plan and oversee maintenance projects to improve plant efficiency and reliability.
Assist with maintenance planning, budgeting, and administration tasks.
Develop and implement maintenance programs and improvement projects to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.
Monitor team performance, conduct annual reviews, and support staff development.
Carry out audits and ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and food quality requirements.
Actively participate in company safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

About You

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or experience in maintenance engineering with management/supervisory experience.
Experience in milling, refinery, or food processing industries preferred.
Strong IT / Computer skills, with an ability to analyse, collate and generate concise reports and use Maintenance management systems.
Workplace Health and Safety awareness and first aid knowledge.
Current drivers licence.
