Personal Support Worker – Bundaberg

Make a meaningful difference every day as Spinal Life Australia's next Personal Support Worker. Work with a range of clients with spinal, neurological and musculoskeletal presentations across Bundaberg.

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive casual pay up to $35.15/hr under the SCHADS Award, plus penalty rates, sleepover allowances, weekend loadings and public holiday rates
Casual role on a fixed fortnightly roster, designed to fit around your life commitments – select your preference for morning, afternoon, overnight and weekend shifts!
Comprehensive onboarding and training, with ongoing monthly training to grow your skills in personal support

Your New Role:

Deliver person-centred, high-quality care to a range of clients, including personal care and hygiene, Bowel Therapy, and medication assistance
Support client mobility and safe transfers using hoists, slide boards and slide sheets, while monitoring health conditions and checking pressure areas
Work across a range of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers, active overnights, weekends and public holidays to provide consistent, reliable support
Build genuine relationships with clients, communicating with authenticity and care to support their independence and quality of life

About You:

Experience in nursing, aged care or disability support, or currently studying towards a relevant qualification with confidence in personal support or willing to undertake training to build this capability
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle and access to a smartphone for work purposes – kilometric metric as per the SCHADs award & claim your phone bill on tax!
Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Card, or willingness to obtain
