About the Role
Due to continued growth, our Product Support division is seeking an experienced and highly motivated HSE Advisor to provide hands-on, field-based HSE support across shutdown and project activities at key Tier 1 client sites.
Reporting to the HSE Superintendent, this role will play a critical part in supporting, mentoring, and influencing site teams to ensure the safe and effective execution of specialist high-risk activities across core operations and shutdown scopes.
The successful candidate will maintain a strong operational focus, ensuring compliance with the HSE Management System, relevant legislation, and project-specific HSE requirements and deliverables, while promoting a proactive and positive safety culture across all work fronts.
This is a fly-in, fly-out role from Perth, offering flexibility and a balanced roster to support work-life balance.

Duties will include but not limited to
- Ensure compliance with Corporate, Client, and legislative HSE requirements, standards, and management systems
- Provide proactive HSE leadership and visible site engagement to drive a strong and sustainable safety culture
- Support risk assessments, safe work procedures, and control measures for project and shutdown activities
- Conduct site inspections, and assurance activities to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities
- Identify, escalate, and report high-risk issues that may impact HSE performance or compliance
- Support incident investigations, ensuring timely reporting, corrective actions, and close-out of findings
- Provide specialist HSE advice and support to operational teams and stakeholders
- Share relevant HSE information with teams during pre-starts
- Support injury management and Return to Work processes where required
- Drive continuous improvement across HSE systems, performance, and operational practices
Requirements & Experience Needed
- 2+ years’ experience as a HSE Advisor within the mining sector
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (essential)
- Qualifications in ICAM investigations &/or Root cause analysis (preferred)
- Current working at height, confined space entry, demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment and basic first aid qualifications (desirable)
- Demonstrable understanding of WHS legislation and industry standards
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and driven to add value
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed IT skills (Word, Excel, App based systems)
- High level of analytical and problem-solving capability
- Current Australian Driver’s License (essential)
