Full Job Description

Benesse is a well-established café group operating across the South West of Western Australia, committed to delivering high-quality food and beverage experiences to the local community. We are currently seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our Bunbury team across three full-time, permanent positions.

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: 38 hours per week (guaranteed)

Location: Bunbury, Western Australia

Salary: $68,864 per annum (full-time equivalent)

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages to a consistently high standard
Operate, calibrate, clean and maintain commercial espresso machines and grinders
Take customer orders and deliver friendly, attentive front-of-house service
Apply milk texturing techniques and latte art to a professional standard
Manage coffee stock levels, assist with ordering and minimise wastage
Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with food safety standards
Assist in training junior staff on coffee preparation techniques and quality standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Barista in a commercial café or hospitality setting
Demonstrated proficiency with commercial espresso equipment and grinders
Strong knowledge of coffee extraction, grind adjustment and milk texturing
Current Food Safety Handler certificate, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia

Pay: $68,864.00 per year
