Sunny Dental Buderim is looking for a warm, organised and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team.

We are a caring dental practice under new ownership, with an exciting period of renewal and rejuvenation ahead. Our goal is to build a supportive, stable and positive workplace where each team member feels valued, confident and well supported in their role.

This position would suit someone who enjoys helping patients feel comfortable, takes pride in clinical care, and wants to be part of a practice that values quality over quantity.

About the role

As a Dental Assistant, you will support our dentists and patients throughout a wide range of general dental procedures. You will play an important role in helping each appointment run smoothly, safely and calmly.

Your duties may include:

Chairside assisting for general dental procedures
Preparing treatment rooms before appointments
Cleaning and resetting rooms after appointments
Supporting infection control and sterilisation processes
Taking care of instruments, materials and clinical supplies
Helping patients feel comfortable and reassured
Supporting smooth patient flow throughout the day
Communicating clearly with dentists, reception and other team members
Maintaining a clean, organised and professional clinical environment
