About the Role
Mackay Sugar is seeking expressions of interest from individuals interested in seasonal employment opportunities that may become available during the remainder of the 2026 cane crushing season. The season is currently underway and is expected to run until approximately December 2026. Day Cleaner / General Mill worker
These positions report to the Shift Supervisor and are responsible for the efficient and effective operation of both mobile & fixed plant support equipment within and associated with the Factory; as well as maintaining housekeeping standards within the relevant work area.

Adequate mechanical aptitude

Ability and willingness to work shift work - we are a 24/7 Operation during the Crushing Season

An adequate level of physical fitness, such as lifting and carrying objects, climbing stairs and ladders.

Availability for duration of 2026 crushing season.
