Full Job Description

Summary:

Good Shepherd Lodge Ltd are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team in Mackay, Queensland. This role is essential for providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our patients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing patient mobility and overall health, contributing to our commitment to excellence in medical care.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to improve patients' mobility and quality of life.
Utilise a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery.
Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in physiotherapy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
First Aid and CPR certification.
Current police clearance certificate.
Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting, preferably in an allied health role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Proficient in using physiotherapy equipment and technology.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
