Kimberley Regional Service Providers (KRSP) is looking for a reliable, adaptable and motivated Yardperson to join our Broome Depot team.
This role is much more than maintaining the yard, you’ll play an important part in supporting our workshop, logistics and operational teams to keep essential services running across remote Kimberley communities.

About the Role
Reporting to the Workshop & Logistics Manager, you’ll provide logistical and operational support to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the Broome Depot.
No two days are the same. One day you might be loading freight, organising stock and helping in the workshop, while the next you could be collecting parts from suppliers, maintaining the yard or travelling to assist with operational requirements.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, is a self-starter with strong initiative, adapts well to changing priorities and is always willing to lend a hand.
Occasional overnight travel to regional locations may be required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised depot and yard
- Loading and unloading freight and deliveries
- Assisting with goods receival, storage and dispatch
- Supporting workshop operations and trades personnel
- Collecting parts and materials from local suppliers
- Assisting with fleet and equipment movements
- Operating forklifts and other equipment safely
- Working collaboratively across multiple teams
- Providing general operational support wherever required
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a similar yard, logistics or warehouse role
- Holds a current Forklift Licence
- Holds a current MR Driver’s Licence
- Is physically fit and enjoys hands-on work
- Can adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment
- Has excellent organisational and time management skills
- Takes pride in maintaining a safe workplace
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Is willing to undertake occasional overnight travel when required
- Holds unrestricted Australian working rights
Desirable
- HR Driver’s Licence
- White Card
- First Aid Certificate
- Experience working in a workshop, civil or remote operations environment
