About the Role:
As the Senior Indigenous Liaison Officer, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with Aboriginal organisations, Elders, community groups, employers, and job seekers. You will provide practical support, cultural guidance, and advocacy to help individuals overcome barriers to employment while ensuring Job Pathways remains connected and responsive to community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications & Experience
-
Experience in community engagement, Indigenous liaison, employment services, or stakeholder management (preferably in a not-for-profit setting).
- Strong relationships with Aboriginal communities, Elders, organisations, and key stakeholders
- Ability to represent an organisation at community meetings and forums.
- Understanding of the social, economic, and environmental factors affecting remote communities (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate records and reports
What You’ll Need

Current C Class Driver’s License (essential)
- National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (or willingness to obtain)
