Job Description
Our Ground Engineering and Tunnelling team provides services ranging from site investigations, desk-top and feasibility studies, engineering design, and construction phase supervision. The team supports both internal and external clients on a wide variety of projects in the transportation, energy, water, and building sectors, throughout ANZ as well as globally.
How you’ll make a difference

Support a mix of fieldwork (e.g., site visits, inspections) and office-based tasks (e.g., reporting, design input) across project phases, working under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, clients, and contractors to deliver integrated project solutions.

Support geotechnical analyses for foundations, slope stability, pavement design, earthworks, and other structures by compiling data, performing basic calculations, and preparing deliverables under supervision.

Participate in opportunities for short- or long-term interstate travel, as project needs and interests align.

Qualifications

Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.

Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical electives.

Commencement: Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 – mid February 2027. Potential to continue on a part time basis after the summer internship, during your final year of study, depending on project needs.

Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia before applying.
