About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. This role involves managing residential construction projects across Melbourne’s Northern and South Eastern suburbs.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trades on site
* Schedule trades and manage construction timelines
* Conduct OH&S checks and site inductions
* Ensure all works comply with building standards and regulations
* Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
* Monitor quality control and project progress
* Resolve site issues efficiently and professionally
* Maintain communication with clients, trades, and management
* Ensure projects are completed within deadlines and budgets
Skills & Experience
Essential
* Previous Site Supervisor experience in Australian residential construction
* Strong leadership and organizational skills
* Knowledge of residential building codes and OH&S requirements
* Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Valid driver’s license
Preferred
* Experience in custom homes and townhouse developments
* English and Hindi/Punjabi speaking preferred
* Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or Building
