About the role
As an Assessment Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth planning, coordination and delivery of ACRRM assessments. You will provide high‑quality service, support and guidance to doctors on the Fellowship pathway, as well as Examiners, Writers and other key assessment stakeholders.
This is a varied, fast‑paced role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to build positive working relationships. Your contribution will help ensure assessments are delivered accurately on time and in line with policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end assessments in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Plan, coordinate and deliver assessments, including enrolments and stakeholder coordination for assessment content development
- Provide technical and logistical support to examiners, candidates and other assessment stakeholders during examinations
- Monitor timelines and ensure all assessment activities are completed accurately and on schedule
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in assessment processes, outcomes and stakeholder experience
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver outstanding customer service to ACRRM members by responding promptly to enquiries, resolving issues and providing clear, accurate information
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in administration, assessment coordination, event coordination and/or customer service
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong technology skills are essential, with a high level of confidence using systems and platforms including Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and SharePoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- The ability to work independently once directed, as well as collaboratively within a team
- Experience or understanding of assessments in a medical or education environment will be highly regarded.
