What will your typical day look like?
We are seeking a Strategy Manager, with in-depth experience in their chosen industry (one of Consumer, ER&I, Financial Services, Government & Public Sector and TMT).
Specifically, you should demonstrate deep familiarity with the evolving business landscape, including shifting customer expectations, the competitive environment, regulatory considerations, and market forces that influence organisations. You should have a solid grasp of key trends impacting your sector of expertise and how emerging technologies, such as AI, are being integrated. Your knowledge should extend beyond theoretical awareness and include a demonstrated ability to integrate these insights into strategic, actionable recommendations that address operational complexities and emerging client needs.
As a Strategy Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities may include;
Leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a project team(s) and taking ownership of a project’s direction and its outcomes
Managing client relationships on projects and proactively building strong relationships across the sector
Leveraging your deep strategy expertise and skill set to work collaboratively with clients to help solve their key business challenges
Leading project management including managing project financials and proactively identifying and addressing project risks as they arise
Assisting, Directors, and Partners with defining project scopes and requirements
Identifying and pursuing new client opportunities and business development activities within our practice, including leading or contributing to proposal development activities to shape, scope and win new packages of work
Coaching and mentoring junior team members within our practice, investing in their career journeys in addition to your own
Contributing to the growth of the broader practice through thought leadership and knowledge sharing whilst helping support team recruitment, onboarding, learning and culture

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
As a Strategy Manager, you will possess a tertiary degree with an outstanding academic record, coupled with demonstrated strategy consulting experience in a Tier 1 consulting firm or strategy boutique. In addition, you will demonstrate exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise mature judgment. Lastly, experience on end-to-end strategy design, and execution across a variety of small and large scale projects.
Given the stakeholder requirements associated with the role, you will need to have highly effective communication skills, allowing you to build trust and credibility with key stakeholders, driving key outcomes and developing new opportunities.
As a Manager, you will have proven team leadership, mentoring and people management capabilities, and a record of developing effective and efficient work environments that enable others to work to the best of their abilities.
