Our client, FLANDERS, is a world leader in renewing machines for heavy industry, specialising in some of the largest and most complex applications across mining, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. Our expertise spans the distribution, service, repair, design, and manufacture of electric rotating machines, along with cutting-edge automation, controls, systems integration, and AI-powered condition monitoring solutions.

What We Are Looking For:
We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team on a permanent part-time basis. Working 5 hours per day, this role offers school-friendly hours, making it ideal for someone looking for flexibility while continuing to build their finance career.

This position offers a great work-life balance; however, flexibility is essential during month-end and other busy periods, when additional hours may be required to support reporting deadlines and business needs.

You'll play a key role in managing the accounts receivable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately, customer payments are received on time, and outstanding accounts are effectively managed within a supportive and collaborative team.

Here's What You'll Do:

Process customer invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner.
Allocate customer payments, reconcile accounts, and follow up outstanding invoices.
Manage customer account enquiries and work with internal teams to resolve invoice disputes.
Prepare weekly accounts receivable reports and assist with month-end activities and audits.
Maintain accurate financial records while providing general support to the Finance Manager.

Here's What You'll Need:

At least 2-3 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance role.
Experience using ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
